What is the Senior Employment Program?

A program to provide meaningful part-time paid work experience in community services.

Why is this help available? 

To provide opportunities to obtain meaningful unsubsidized jobs in private industry or the public sector.

Who can apply?

Participants must be 55 years or older and must meet low-income guidelines.

  • Development of new skills and talents toward alternate career opportunities

The Senior Community Service Employment Program for Older Americans is operated by the U.S. Department of Labor and by local project grantees. Funds are provided by the Older Americans Act and is 100% federally funded.
